Our clinics for entering 2nd graders and older focus on accelerating performance in the primary biomotor abilities of speed, strength, flexibility and coordination. We start with establishing baseline performance levels, then provide proper instruction in sprint mechanics and conditioning/strengthening exercises, and systematically work towards strengthening the hip musculature, which is the body's primary source for speed and power. The instructional objectives of our clinics challenge and enhance athletes from a wide range of speed and power sports in an environment that is both fun and motivational. Our clinics feature:
- A training emphasis on bio-mechanical instruction which includes uniformity of movement
- Neuromuscular development executed through a variety of drills and exercises
- Specific exercises that condition and strengthen the hip musculature, core, and ankle joints
- Flexibility exercises
- Performance tests and measures
